On March 9, 2008 at 3:45 in the afternoon, Miley Cyrus will take the stage as Hannah Montana for the last time, at least as part of the Best Of Both Worlds tour.
This tour has been a whirlwind of sellouts, hysteria and record breaking, and will likely go in history as the event that put Miley Cyrus / Hannah Montana on the map as THE premiere act for kids of all ages. Adding the Jonus Brothers (who are rising stars in their own right) as an opening act was a marketing stroke of genius. The show is extremely entertaining, (even for parents), with slick, high-energy choreographed singing, dancing and occasional acting. It's just a good time.
This tour has literally been selling out in minutes all across the county and Houston has been no different. This leaves parents with pleading children pretty much the option of the internet. Here are a few places where tickets are available:
Craig's List: There are Craig's list locations online all over the country. Check locally and see if someone in your area lucked out and got tickets.
Online Tickets.com: Currently, the lowest price here is about $450 with the highest price being $1000. This cost is PER ticket. There are also convenience fees tacked on at the end. There are, however, a few lower level seats at the higher prices.
Ticket Heroes: Tickets heroes appears to have decent prices (some even under $100) but the seats this vendor offers are all higher level. Still, if you're just looking to get inside, this may be a good option.
EBay: This is the best way to go, in my humble opinion. The competition on EBay helps keep the prices low and the feedback system helps showcase superb sellers. Currently, there are a slew of Hannah Montana Houston tickets on EBay ranging in price and location. Even some of the lower level seats are still pretty reasonable compared to the aforementioned vendors.
The good news is there are still some Hannah Montana tickets available online for the Houston show. You just have to do your research and be patient. But, try not to wait until the last minute, as the prices will likely be at their highest then.
