Future of "Water For Gas" Technology

With rising pollution and huge emission of green house gases, it is paramount that we search for alternative fuels. This need becomes even more vital in the wake of ever rising global oil prices.

Water for Gas or more specifically, HHO generators have proved to be a workable solution to these problems. This technology involves the formation of HHO or Brown gas, which is then fed into the car intake to produce more power, reduce emissions and hence propagate a cleaner burn. As with any new technology, there are many skeptics who believe that this is not a workable model on a large scale or for extended periods of time. However, recent adoption of HHO generators by several governments proves the contrary.

In a bid to cut down domestic air pollution, South Korea has become the first nation in the world to mandate HHO generators to be fitted in transport trucks. Only transport trucks are involved with this technology as of now, but future plans are well on their way to include even other vehicles.

In North America, a company by the name of Hydrorunner has independent third party verification of their product usability and quality assurance. Moreover, with increasing popularity of HHO generators, one manufacturer has actually approached the American government and is now listed on the official website of the U. S. Department of Energy. A yet another manufacturer has already forwarded its application to California Air Resources Board (CARB).

All these developments clearly prove the huge inherent potential in this technology. Although, still in its infancy, it has definitely proved its worth and we can safely presume its popular presence, at least in the foreseeable future.

So, in case you are still wondering, whether water for gas is a scam or what, rest assured, this new technology can work wonders for your car's mpg and your gas budget. Additionally, it can deliver the extreme satisfaction of taking an environment friendly drive.

Nintendo Wii Games Full Line Up

Through the days of GameCube, GameBoy, Entertainment System and the DS line, there was really little between the likes of Nintendo, Microsoft (Xbox) and Sony (PS) in video gaming. That was until the Wii came along, and then BANG! By now, few true -blue video gamers would dispute that Nintendo has clearly surged ahead.

Needless to say, the video game industry is highly lucrative and everybody wants a bite of the pie. To occupy pole position, the Nintendo Wii had to be top-notch as a lifestyle item. It is multimedia, personal computer, internet browser, communication device and most of all, the mother of all video game consoles, all-in-one.

Everything about Wii revolves around the remote controller and Nintendo Wii Games are no exception. Its motion sensing technology makes the gaming experience feels like the real thing be it tennis, bowling, baseball, boxing and so forth. So much for the 'couch potato' image of video gaming as the intrinsic specialty of Nintendo Wii Games is the players' movement.

Nintendo Wii Games are inherently played without clutter or restraint through its wireless remote. It is the tennis racquet, steering wheel, gun or bowling ball depending on what game is on. Coupled with the Nunchuck secondary controller, it truly brings Nintendo Wii Games into a gaming dimension previously unknown. There is even an adaptor that fits over the remote for those who are more accustomed to the old-version controller.

Game consoles are generally tended to kids but Nintendo Wii Games can be family affairs, they have the range. There's even a menu channel for setting up personal profiles called Mii so involvement and participation can be even and well-matched regardless of age, gender and other conditions. A wide variety of games are available spanning sports, action, fighting, puzzles, casino and others.

Classic and retro games are also widely available. For one thing, the Nintendo Wii is backward compatible to the games of GameCube and even Entertainment System series. 4 GameCube controller ports are actually provided although some of the old games can be played with the Wii remote. The media bay will also accept the old GameCube discs along with the newer Wii version.

The primary source of Nintendo Wii Games is the Wii games store. They are also available through the Wii Virtual Console. However, the pricing structure through these two avenues is rigid and can be steep in the long run especially for serial Wii gamers. That's why an alternative source of Nintendo Wii Games with a commercial twist through online download is getting vastly popular. At a fraction of the cost of the conventional disc, why wouldn't it be?

The New 'Four Horseman' of Technology - Cramer Likes My Stock Picks

I am sure that many of you watch or have watched CNBCs Mad Money with Jim Cramer. Personally I think the screaming and boo-yaas are a little much, but I do watch it on occasion. I like Fast Money much better - it comes on a couple hours later. I am quite honored, because it looks like old Cramer has been sniffing around my blog looking for ideas

Back in the glory days Intel (INTC), Cisco (CSCO), Dell (DELL) and Microsoft (MSFT) were known as the four horseman. They were the go to stocks. Owning them were like having your own money tree. However, they have all taken it on the chin since then - Intel and Cisco are down 71% and 67% respectively from their high points in 2000, while Dell and Microsoft are down 54% and 49% respectively since 1999.

Last week Cramer announced his new "four horseman" of technology: Apple (AAPL), Research in Motion (RIMM), Google (GOOG) and Amazon (AMZN). Two of those names, Apple and Research in Motion, are the members of my recently formed The Big Spend portfolio. Interestingly Cramer and I converged on those names using two completely different approaches, but our conclusions are the same. These stocks have the potential to significantly outperform the market and are in the midst of secular (long term) moves. Its time to get on board.

Difference in Toys of the Past 10 Years to the Present

It is no secret that toys have been changing in the last ten years. With all of the technological advances made by toy makers and manufacturers, the word "toy" means something completely different than it did to the past generations. Parents will remember when toys meant things like dolls, tea sets, non battery operated cars and trucks, train sets and Lego blocks. Their children however, will remember toys like Nintendo, X Box, Guitar Hero, Robot toys and remote controlled cars, trucks and planes.

Granted, there were some technological toys on the market ten years ago, but they were nowhere near the toys of today! If the toy making trends are to continue on as they have been, I am sure that the next ten years will find us buying robots for our children that have the ability to convert into a few different types of toys.

Ten years ago, the top few toys on the market that children were asking for were toys like the Furby, the Tickle Me Elmo, the Tamagotchi, Beanie Babies and the Teletubbies. There was nothing too technological about these types of toys, and all parents understood them, and how they worked. (Except for the Tamagotchi...some parents may have had some trouble understanding what the point of an electronic pet was!) After that year, the next fads in toys were toys such as, the Baby Furby and, believe it or not, the Yo Yo! The Yo Yo came back on the scene after being completely redone and presented as the new and improved ProYo. Baby Furby was just as big a hit as the Furby of the year before, and toy stores made a good profit off of this interactive toy.

After these toy trends were over, the TV show, "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" hit the airwaves, and of course, the board game came out before Christmas and was asked for by many kids that year. Along with this popular game came some toys that were a lot more technologically advanced than the toys of Christmas past. One example of this type of toy is the robotic pet. This toy was very popular with both parents and kids, because it provided a type of surrogate for a real pet, without being smelly, dirty or noisy. The robotic pet did a lot of real, pet like things without the hassle of having to care for a real pet. It was also a great idea for families with pet allergies.

After the robotic pet, technology basically took over the toy industry, and now there are toys like, more advanced robotic toys, video games, X Box, Guitar Hero, Nintendo Wii and all of the plug and play games. There are actually toys that allow kids to exercise without even stepping outside! There are still toys in the stores that are like the ones we had years ago, such as doll, cars, Thomas the tank engine train sets, and the like, but kids these days are asking more for the technological toys. Toys have almost become a popularity contest - kids want what their friends have, and if they don't own certain toy, they are not "cool" to their classmates.

Thomas the Tank Engine trains will spark your children's imagination and sense of adventure. A place to find fun, educational toys, games, books, and so much more!

Race Driver - Grid Games Review

While GT5 (Gran Turismo 5) gives gears a virtually realistic peek into car driving, Race Driver: Grid provides us with a more fun and metal-grinding insight into all-out-racing with the thrills, spills and frills that go with it. Putting players in the seat of well known race cars but well known factory cars to be raced on highly detailed circuits around the world, one can easily feel the rush involved.

The control are very simple, you have gas and brake done with the triggers, camera view change done with one of the bumpers, steering with the left thumb stick and panning around your car with the right thumb stick.

Since the cars involved are factory series, there is no need for the tuning options and getting car is simply done by entering an event and buying a car specified for that race.

And while buying the car, you have a choice of getting new car or a cheaper used one from eBay motors, although there is not much difference in the condition. You can also sell your car on eBay once you have no use for it.

In Race Driver: Grid, you do have to take care not to crash it but when you do the visual damage model is very convincing. Smack into another car and you will be treated to bits and pieces of glass, metal and rubber flying every which way.

Do enough damage to your car and you will see your speed, power and handling decrease significantly. Even crashing into a barricade can have a lasting effect on the race as any debris will remain on the track for remaining laps.

Codemaster's programmers must have had to restart races a lot in their time as in Grid they have incorporate a flashback game play option where if you crash, you can simply rewind to a specific point and continue from there. It useful especially after having crashed halfway through the 24minute-long Le Mans 24 hour race. Certainly beats having to start from scratch.

In Race Driver: Grid, player has to earn enough 'respect' from their races to be granted licenses in three main territories - Japan, Europe and America. Each territory has it own set of challenges and the goal is to win races and challenges across the board to move both your driver and his associated team up the ranking.

Teammates can also be hired later on, adding to both the amount of money the team can earn and the player's sense of ownership - everything, from the team's name to the colors and sponsors emblazoned on the cars, can be modified here.

Those familiar with Pro Race Driver series should pick this title up while those who are not, the game's rather split personality between an arcade racer and a sim should be appealing enough.

Grand Theft Auto 4 Review for Xbox 360

Grand theft auto is finally here for all platforms. This is Rockstar's first game in three years and their first GTA game for the next gen consoles. Although, saturated with controversy, GTA has embraced the blight to make over 500 million dollars in revenue its first week released. Grand theft auto is quickly becoming one of the greatest launches in game history. For people new to the game, GTA is a large sandbox world where you can do anything or go anywhere. Most of the game play is centered on meeting characters and doing missions but, in a sandbox world the game play experience doesn't stop there. Rock star comes out of the gate with guns ablaze by offering solid game play, deep characters, and multiplayer (A first for the series).

How do you know you playing a Rock star game? The easy answer to that question can be found in the game play and story telling. Rock star always makes storytelling its number one priority to engross the player into its playground. I can't tell you how many times I have lost hours upon hours roaming to world of GTA. In this installment you play Niko Bellic, an eastern European immigrant, newly arrived at the harbor of Liberty city. He comes to America seeking fame and fortune promised to him by his cousin Roman. Niko is a very likable guy. He is portrayed as a man who knows what he wants and knows how to get it. Although, he is not accustomed to life in America he soon finds people to help him assimilate into American culture. Niko meets a lot of characters traveling trough Liberty City. These characters bring about new mission, new points of interest and new items. The new characters are also, well written with excellent dialogue that portray a since of urgency and power. The story helps set the scene but, without top notch game play the game will fall flat.

The game play in this installment of the Grand theft auto series has been greatly upgraded and improved. First thing Rockstar upgraded is the targeting system. This was the single worst feature in all the GTA games up until this game. Rock star learned from there previous mistakes and gave the fans what they wanted. The targeting system is almost perfect. It plays almost like a third person shooter with free look mode. Also, you can lock on with the left trigger and fire with the right trigger. This gives you dead on accuracy and makes dispatching enemies easy and fun. They also, added the duck and cover system. It feels a lot like playing Gears of War which focused to lot on the duck and cover system. Rock star also worked on the car driving physics. Every car in liberty city has its own driving style and braking system. Not all the car drives as well as you think they should. Does liberty city have a good brake shop? The short answer is no. Lots of times I think I had enough room to stop, only to plow in to oncoming traffic. The motorcycle is the worst about stopping distance. I think in the next expansion rock star should add a brake shop. With that being said, the game play is still excellent and a great improvement from the last game. Multiplayer is by far the most exciting upgrade this year.

Rock star finally join the land of multiplayer games. By adding multiplayer the replay value has increased by hundreds of hours. With 16 different game types ranging from simple death match, cops and crooks style game, and co-op. Cops and crooks is a refreshing new game type. You take the role of either a cop or crook. This is predetermined at the start of the match. If you are the crook you and your team have to make it to the destination before the cops caught you or kill you. In all of these modes you have a lot of the city at your disposal. You take the necessary measures to ensure victory by steal cars, pick up new guns and armor. If you have friends you can set up a room called party mode. In party mode you can invite friends to join your game lobby. These friends will stay partied up in every team game type you play. You can also, just run around liberty city and cause mayhem. These just scratches the surface of what Grand theft auto has to offer.

Grand theft auto is an excellent game. The replay value of this gem will keep us entertained well into the summer. For Xbox 360 users, Rock star has promised bonus content for this platform by the end of the year. We could be playing this game well into next year. If you enjoy open ended game play with a deep story embedded this is your game. Run. Don't walk. To your nearest video game store and pick up this game.
