Now if you want to go about it, the half ass kind of way, you can do the cool down heat up method, somewhat similar to the towel trick that I'm sure you've seen somewhere online, it does work, but the only problem with it is, it's only a temporary fix, meaning that you'll have to repeat the process over and over again, until something serious breaks, so why not fix it right the first time around, right?

Xbox 360 Problem Solution: Fixing it yourself is not beyond your capabilities, believe me; if a 12 year old can handle it, I'm quite sure you can too.
