Is the World of Warcraft Losing Customers?

The massive online game World of Warcraft recently hit it's mark when Most Popular Video Games new game "Age of Conan" hit the market. This new, bloody-gore game has WoW fanatics leaving their realms and switching it up, but the question remains, has WoW seen it's day?

I have been an MMO gamer for about 6 years now, I was a huge fan of FFXI and then WoW came along and that was the end of FFXI for me and many other gamers the world over. The new style of gameplay that World of Warcraft introduced was simply amazing, instead of having to do the traditional "grinding" for experience and taking you months upon months to hit the top level, WoW introduced the questing for experience - an option that has set the standard for MMO gamers, sure grinding is fun, but having to do it non-stop is redundant and boring, so WoW made a big impact on the gaming community.

Now the new AOC (Age of Conan) has hit the market, it uses the same concept, and is intended for mature audiences, it is bloody, gory, seductive in nature and has sold millions of copies since it hit the market, how are the developers over at Blizzard Entertainment taking this? Will they come back with an even harder-hitting product than World of Warcraft? Only time will tell, the internet is the new day-in-age and Age of Conan is stepping up to the plate swinging hard and hitting homeruns.

Of course, WoW does have an expansion coming out near the end of this year, which may bring old players back, but from my experience, once you make the switch to a newer and better game, most of the time, you will not Hard to Find Video Games back to the old outdated ones. Sometimes I think about playing FFXI, but then again I remember how repetitive the leveling process was and I refuse to give Square-Enix another dime of my money (they used to make such awesome RPG games - that was before they went from Squaresoft to SquareEnix...)

As it stands, Age of Conan has only been out a few short months and has already sold over 4 million copies and WoW players are flocking to it like moths to a light in a dark tunnel. On the forums, WoW players are saying this new game isn't going to hurt Blizzard, but the fact stands it already has.

I personally will wait to play this new hit-wonder because with any new online game, Sony Playstation Strategy Guides are still bugs that need worked out and the price will drop drastically from $50 to around $30 or $40 once the market gets saturated, so if you are a WoW player, take that advice, you can fork out the cash now and expect to have gameplay problems or you can wait until they get it up and running properly and not have to pay so much for the game itself.

If you're into online games, MMO games such as AOC, WoW, FFXI, COH, ect. Head over to MMO Game Guides for all your gold, powerleveling and MMO Guide needs. Need to make more WoW Gold? Check out Blastoids Gold Guide.
